A real success

I’ve heard a number of people give their views on the Eucharistic Congress over the weekend, and some I do have to say I found extraordinarily curmudgeonly.

I was invited as a guest on Friday and having no real views on religion I was amazed at the feeling of unity, and willingness to share that all of those present showed.

Out of the thousands of various stands manned (and ‘womaned’) by various people, young, old, nuns, priests, abled and disabled it was a fantastic venue for people to meet in true spirituality.

Well done to all of those who worked so hard to organise this incredible event.
