Money division

The fiscal treaty referendum poll shows up, in frightening and stark terms, the new reality — Ireland is divided by money.

The well off voted for it while the struggling voted no.

Labour can now be seen to have betrayed their constituency to hang on to the big salaries and sit it out to pick up the big pensions.

Any wise government would take note and seek to rebalance how wealth is distributed. Given the fumbling ineptitude and greed demonstrated thus far, I would advise that we should prepare for the worst.
