Still too many TDs

I see the Constituency Commission have recommended a reduction of eight members of the Dáil.

Still too many TDs

If it were 38 then we would have seen progress. We are a tiny country and a small population. A reduction of all local authorities to four regional authorities, and doing away with junior ministers, would have been helpful.

It’s still jobs for the boys in Ireland, business as usual, and nothing has changed.

Any word on the Senate, or is that another U-turn? I would like to see more realistic proposals on the reduction of Government and the obese costs of running it!
