Poor treatment of young amputees
Perhaps someone would like to explain why a young boy has to attend school in a wheelchair because he has outgrown his prosthesis?
I would be willing to support a weekly picket of the HSE office until such time as the waiting list for sanction has been reduced to six weeks.
On behalf of amputees in the Southern health region I would like to thank the Evening Echo and Irish Examiner for bringing the issue into the open.
Perhaps our local minister for the disabled would like to take up this issue with the HSE.
