Universal meaning

Do fundamentalist Catholics know the meaning of the word “Catholic”? It means “universal”.

It encompasses “diversity within unity”.

It recognises that all God’s children are unique and equal.

It includes saints and sinners. It welcomes all. It excludes none.

The Church must repent and learn how to be holy once again.

Let us pray that a better Church may arise from the ashes of the moral shame.

It is sad whenever doctrine becomes a chariot of gloom and masquerades as the last refuge of spiritual bullies.
