Take up beekeeping

It was good to see an article from a beekeeper’s perspective in your newspaper (Apr 9).

I would echo Mr Rowe’s call for people to take up beekeeping. Furthermore, it is crucial that national policy frameworks are designed to help to save the honey bee, a magnificent species which has been in decline for many years.
