Positive awareness

While Premiership footballer Fabrice Muamba bravely recovers in hospital, it seems we are reminded about incidents of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) all too often.

This month marked the eighth anniversary of the passing of GAA star Cormac McAnallen.

Thankfully, organisations such as CRY and The Cormac Trust are raising great awareness. Students in our college raised funds and understanding through the medium of sport this week. Such social interaction further builds co-operative skills that serve participants in all areas of life.
