Every woman’s right

Could I please make a simple straight-forward, no-nonsense point regarding those seeking legislation based on the X case of 1992 as per your recent article (Features, Feb 23).

The agenda has little or nothing to do with threats to the health or lives of women.

It is ultimately in support of the right of every woman, healthy or otherwise, to have the right to terminate, not just her pregnancy, but the life of her unborn child (healthy or otherwise) for no other reason than the fact that she doesn’t want the child.
