Lucky to be alive after savage dog attack

Recently, while walking my dog, I was attacked by a huge Alsatian.

The attack lasted 10 minutes, during which time I was knocked to the ground twice.

I kicked that dog so many times but to no avail. Eventually I was rescued by a man who beat the Alsatian with a stick.
