We must not forget Vatican’s past

I’m delighted we have discontinued diplomatic relations with the Vatican.

I much prefer the term Vatican to the so-called Holy See.

We mustn’t forget bishops engaged in some strange practices such as mental reservation; a 700-year-old doctrine by which clerics may avoid telling the truth.
