Sneaky move

Recently I received a letter from the pensions office in Sligo seeking information regarding my financial status.

As a result of giving over my present financial status, which has not changed over the years, my pension has been reduced. Would I be correct to suggest that the pensions office are writing to all pensioners on an individual basis as the previous government had to do a turn-about when they tried taking the medical cards from us? Sneaky!
