The disunited opposition weakens our democracy

THE opposition in a democracy is as important as the government.

For a strong and sensible government to work, according to the will of the people, an equally strong and sensible opposition is a must.

Such opposition is the success of democracy in England, the oldest democracy in the world. There is usually one strong political party in opposition. In this lies the strength of democracy in that country.
