Fracking dangers

I READ the “pro-fracking” argument (Letters, Jan 13) and I must say that I don’t care what the esteemed gentleman claims about fracking being a low-risk procedure.

Most Americans, like myself, think that not enough is known about fracking. In Ohio, an area that never experienced an earthquake had one but, thankfully, there was minimal damage. Fracking was determined to be the cause. I, for one, am vehemently opposed to fracking until it has been proven safe. I would urge those people who are fearful of the consequences to let their voices be heard.
