John McCarthy: A man of courage and insight

JOHN McCARTHY’S voice spoke for so many of us, his was a voice that needs to be re-echoed now that he is no longer with us.

A brave man, a man of rare insight, a man who saw through all posturing, with a dangerous clarity, that danger of being true to himself. As it is written elsewhere “by his wounds we were healed”. Peace John, peace.
