Economic death knell

WITH the implementation of the VAT increase and the household tax from Jan 1, along with other increases, this is the final death knell for any chance of recovery in the economy.

When in opposition, Fine Gael and Labour clearly stated that increasing taxation was not a solution.

But that’s exactly what they have done since coming into power.

Continuing with the policies of the previous Government will prove detrimental to the two government parties in the future.
