Moral compass needed

I BELIEVE the “common good” of all should always take priority over local, narrow, selfish interests.

Now the focus should be on national questions and responsibility for the country as a whole. It is time to leave behind local parish pump politics.

In caritas in veritate Benedict XVI says: “The root cause of the crisis is above all moral in nature, the economy needs ethics — one that is people centred.”
