Fianna Fáil has sense of humour

FIANNA Fáil’s Michael McGrath TD has called on the Government not to pay the €715 million bill to Anglo bondholders.

He said that the payment was “quite incredible” and evidence of “a weak negotiating strategy”.

Has Mr McGrath forgotten that his own party authorised the payment of a total of €97 billion to these same bondholders (130 times the recent payment) and that he supported these measures in several Dáil votes on the matter?

You can say what you like about Fianna Fáil, but at least they have a sense of humour.
