Setback to recovery

WITH the help of US President Bill Clinton and other American financiers and investors showing such a sincere interest in Ireland’s recovery, there’s a bright ray of hope for all of us.

Unfortunately, we have a candidate who has held anti-American views at every opportunity over the past 30 years. His prejudice is well known to many Americans and Irish-Americans here and abroad. Michael D Higgins would be a major setback to Ireland’s recovery at this critical time of Irish-American and American investment in this country.
