IT was amazing to see the images of the Occupy Wall Street protests that are currently unfolding in New York.

I hope the current regime in the USA will start to engage in talks with the popular opposition with a view to a timely stepdown of Barack Obama and handover of power to the ordinary people of America who have been betrayed.

It seems the message of the Arab Spring has spread far beyond the Arab world.

Perhaps finally America will once again experience some real democracy and see its oligarchs hauled before the International Court of Human Rights.
