Twitter announcement - Jobs boost is welcome

The Industrial Development Authority announced yesterday in a tweet that the social networking company Twitter is to open an international office in Dublin.

It will initially be recruiting in the field of finance, marketing and user-support.

Twitter, founded in San Francisco in 2006, has more than 100 million users.
