Taoiseach was not speaking for me about the Church

IN your editorial (Sept 5), you state that in Taoiseach Enda Kenny’s speech of July 20, he spoke for the majority of Irish citizens.

Well, in this intemperate, bad-tempered, ill-considered rant, he was not speaking for me.

If bishops and priests have broken the law, let them be tried and punished. (Incidentally, ditto politicians and bankers).
