Abandoning our Christian morality
The reaction of the pub management in rapidly backtracking for fear of alienating their gay clientele and bringing down the opprobrium of the powerful homosexual “rights” lobby was disappointing but not surprising.
In the Ireland of 2011, it is nearly akin to murder to dare criticise bad behaviour. There is still a sizeable number of people in Ireland today who think homosexual behaviour between two men or two women is wrong and sinful.
This has been the teaching of the Christian Church for 2,000 years and we reserve the right to proudly proclaim that fact without being proclaimed as homophobic bigots. In Ireland, we are slavishly following our European and American masters down the road of false toleration for new “rights” and abandoning 2,000 years of Christian morality upon which our laws and societies were built.
The results will be predictable — Western Europe and the US are now in possibly terminal decline. Can we halt the decline here or can we return to our senses ! before it’s too late?
