Temporary FG forsaken by friends

IF recent European developments did not have such serious ramifications for most of us, Fine Gael’s absence would bring a smug smile to my face.

It does not matter that our FG government is now absent because of holidays and honeymoons, because it has nothing worth saying anyway.

Maybe FG ministers wanted to avoid being shredded by Ganley on TV3? They deserve to be afraid of Ganley after backing a humiliatingly hollow Lisbon Treaty.

It appears that friends who once sought a temporarily useful FG now forsake it.
