Paying a price for rejecting God-given values

THE frightening scenes in English cities are rooted in many years of decay in God-given values in society.

It’s been said, if people do not worship the God of love they will worship the “animal god” within them of greed, selfishness and other vices.

Sadly, Britain has to all extents and purposes become a godless society with religion relegated to the fringes of life while the media pushes relentless programmes of the baser elements of life.

The country now reaps the whirlwind of the seeds of godlessness sown and thriving over many years. Where God has been rejected by Nazism, Communism and the new “religion” of materialism, chaos surely follows.

God-given laws and values of respect for life and virtue are replaced by selfishness, greed and all the baser instincts of the animal in man are given free reign at the expense of self-control and respect for others’ rights.

Commentators mentioned “How could parents allow their children to roam like wild animals doing mayhem, robbery and violence?” Obviously such parents themselves must have rejected God and his rules and values.

Ireland beware.
