Shameless self-interest

THE suggestion that FF might nominate a candidate for the presidency was made for the same reason that people such as Biffo and Bertie now live on large pensions, after destroying the country’s economy and many thousands of the lives that are/were forced to pay for their luxury.

It is the same reason that our priests and bishops still stroll around proudly in their gaily coloured frocks after their organisation destroyed many hundreds of lives. The reason is brutal, self-interested shamelessness in our country’s corridors of power. So sad that, like the many countries in Africa that finally threw off the colonial yoke, the people that took over were even worse than the “evil lords”. Animal Farm was spot on.
