Lack of accountability

THE recent cases of the “missed transplant and hospital records” highlight once again the lack of accountability in the Irish system.

If the staff of the HSE, FÁS etc, worked in the private sector, many would have been dismissed.

Our “system” allows them to blunder along and, worse still, not be held accountable for their blunders.
