Byrne needs to learn how the EU works

Gay Byrne is convinced Ireland is being “run by mad people in Brussels”.

Does he mean the prime ministers, the agriculture ministers, the environment ministers, and various other ministers? Or does he mean the directly elected MEPs?

They are the people running Brussels. Maybe Gay should learn how the EU actually works before running for the highest office in the country.
