Thank you for making our voices heard

I WOULD like to congratulate Jennifer Hough for her excellent coverage of mental health matters in the Irish Examiner.

As a psychiatric survivor and campaigner for the human rights and alternatives for those affected by the mental health system, it is very encouraging to read articles written by Ms Hough. The media is not often on our side.

We struggle to have our voices heard but with more honest, hardworking journalists like Ms Hough, there is great hope for the future.
