Version of events at school fills me with anger

I AM disgusted with Philip Egan’s attempt in last Thursday’s Examiner (August 4) to make little, or say it was the “times we lived in” regarding what happened at Carrignavar.

Fr MacCarthaigh’s teaching methods were not ‘severe’ — they were ‘brutal’. I remember so many disgusting things he did in the class room to me and to other kids.

Egan also stated how he (Dinny) brought a sense of focus and commitment to the training ground.
