Irish youth do care

IN response to Sean de Paor (Letters, July 26), I would like to point out that Young Fine Gael held its national conference in Charleville, Co Cork, last November, with 500 young people from all over Ireland in attendance.

Irish youth do care

It seems to me that our young people care just as much for our country as those in Norway.

I think it unfair to try and land the burden of our country’s situation on the shoulders of our supposedly apathetic youth.

Yes, the tragedy of Ireland’s economic situation is our inheritance, but it is the legacy of the older generation.
