Unfair and unbalanced attacks on Catholic Church

NOW I have some idea of the thinking behind Lewis Carroll’s Mad Hatter’s tea party.

I refer of course to the disproportionate reaction of the Irish media to the recent Cloyne Report. In fairness, your editorial (July 15) restored one’s faith to some extent in journalistic balance. In general though, history, yet again, was rewritten with a vengeance in an effort to denigrate Catholics and Catholicism.

I sincerely hope the Papal Nuncio will tell the Irish state to stop hypocritically lecturing others about child abuse until it gets its own house in order. It’s based on the Biblical quotation about people in glass houses.
