Lack of sincerity
Kenny has been overwhelmed by spin-driven election wins at any cost.
Both Fine Gael and the electorate knew that promises would be impossible to keep because of the economic situation.
If the A&E at Roscommon has been so unsafe, why did HIQA not express concerns before? Did FG know about these concerns before the election?
It would also be interesting to know how many patients were satisfied with treatment at the supposedly unsafe Roscommon A&E.
Instead of taking the easy way out by closing Roscommon A&E, it would have been possible for FG to spend some money on upgrading the unit.
This recent insincerity will only serve to make FG look better in opposition than in power.
