Lenihan coverage

JUST a quick note to voice my complete exasperation at the media coverage of the death of Brian Lenihan.

It seems the man has been fast tracked to beatification a la Pope John Paul II.

Anyone’s death is regrettable but please can the media, including your publication present an accurate profile of this man’s legacy.

Ireland finds itself in utter crisis due to the ineptitude of Lenihan and his previous colleagues.

I thought we had a free press in this country, or maybe it’s just an exercise in sycophantism?
