Let’s hope our leaders can turn our country around

A NEW era dawned when the government received their seals of office from President McAleese on Wednesday, March 9, 2011.

Chalk up Friday, June 17, 2011, as the milestone for the coalition’s first 100 days in office.

From 1983 to 2011, the average duration of our previous seven administrations was four years.

Our new leaders have set their course to go the distance.

If they can keep the ATMs churning out money, they will be doing well.

Our prayers are with them.

They need every help they can get.

Let them tread softly on our hopes and dreams.

Let us hope that this time a more gentle beauty may be born.
