Thank you, CUH

OUR mother fell and broke her hip on May 5 and was taken to & CUH by ambulance some time before midnight.

She was made as comfortable as possible on a trolley and had a bed in a ward in less than 12 hours, and was back in the ward after an operation to insert a pin in less then 18 hours from being admitted. All the doctors, nurses, bed manager, surgeons, orthopaedic team and the ambulance guys were efficient, patient, kind and helpful. The corridors were full of trollies and still many went beyond the call of duty, even finding a pillow to support mums’ knee. Thank you all, we really appreciated your efficient expertise in our hour of need.
