People deserve debt forgiveness

DAY by day I see this great country being dragged to its knees.

The people of this great island have been abandoned by their political leaders when they are needed most.

We are more concerned about our reputation and repaying crippling debts that are not of the taxpayers’ making.

What’s paramount is our future and our children’s future.

Every single cent this country has should be pumped back into families across Ireland.

All financial sectors — banks, building societies, credit unions, etc, should come together, be radical, and for once — just once — in their lives put their people first, not profits, and get this country moving again.

Give some debt forgiveness to people to free up income and strive ahead.
