Cheap and crude
I am disgusted by how music has changed so much in the last decade.
Every song these days seems to glorify drink, sex and drugs. Most videos now contain degrading images of women, as if they are objects to be used.
I was utterly appalled when I witnessed Rihanna’s video for her new single, S&M. Her cheap and sexual acts are far from innocent. A woman of her status should have more consideration for the young people who aspire to be like her. Yet she takes advantage with her crude lyrics and provocative attire.
It appears that songs only do well in the charts if they contain vulgar lyrics and semi-naked women. The quality of songs doesn’t matter anymore.
God only knows what music will be like in 10 years’ time.
