Census birth question

QUESTION 13 on the 1911 Census requires women to state how many live babies were born to them.

Apart from the fact that some women may never have disclosed these facts even to their closest family members, women who have had one or more stillbirths are not accorded the opportunity therein, for perhaps the first time ever, to acknowledge such a birth officially.
