Intolerable cruelty

AS someone who is involved in animal welfare I was heartened to see Judge Kilrane’s decision to keep James Curley in custody for his heartless neglect of his animals.

For anyone who has ever loved an animal it is unbearable to imagine the plight of these horses and donkeys so desperately in need of nourishment that they ate the fences in the field out of sheer hunger.
