Irish eyes are crying

I’VE always been very proud of the fact that I am Irish. The source of this pride has stemmed largely from Ireland’s rich cultural heritage.

However, having just watched my first episode of “Bondi Rescue” it has become evident to me now that I have been somewhat misled with regard to the finer attributes of our race. I was completely overcome by the overwhelming sense of pride I got from seeing the pasty, red-haired, sunburned drunken Irish “disasters” that venture from the murky depths of the Irish ghetto that is Sydney’s Bondi Junction and appear on the show.
