Good for greyhounds

IN reply to the letter on the possible exportation of greyhounds to race in China I would like to express horror at the thinly-veiled dig at the Chinese population and culture.

Maybe the writer is confusing China with North Korea or Vietnam, or possibly this is just another dig at the Irish greyhound industry.

The China link-up will be done to the highest international standards if it comes off and in these economic times could very well help to keep people’s heads above water in the greyhound industry in Ireland, which has suffered massive cuts over the last few years.
