Science can’t explain everything

I WISH to respond to UCC’s Professor William Reville, who complains that Life FM in their broadcasts reject scientific evidence in biological and cosmic evolution.

Science can’t explain everything

Science says that we evolved out of nothing, it’s survival of the fittest, the strongest survive, forget everyone else. Evolution is a belief from which the common good can never be achieved, no peace or happiness, no hope or faith in anything or anyone. Isaac Newton once said that gravity explains the emotions of the planets, but could not explain who set the planets in motion.

Albert Einstein stated that the world was so eloquently designed that there had to be a supreme intelligence who designed it.

Prof Reville has the audacity to describe scientific findings as a certainty, but science does not know how gravity works. Science cannot show how genetic mutation or the evolutionary process increases the information in our genes. In short, if man, through science, cannot understand one of mans’ most basic physical needs, how then, can they expect to understand or explain the spiritual needs of man?

Scientific findings are based entirely on guesswork that constantly changes as scientists come up with new understandings and not proven fact.
