Close curtain on political circus

I MUST write to express my outrage at the “Punch and Judy Show” antics of our political parties which is leaving us, the public, so muddled as to whether any party has a solid policy on the important issues and whose policy is whose?

All this at a time when our country is bust and we are trying to pick a government to save Ireland. At least the independents will represent those who elect them without the comedy show to hide the issues.

The parties are carrying on like the last government who rightly intended to boost our only remaining indigenous industry — agriculture — to help pull us out of the mess into which they landed us but then went about introducing a climate bill to stop all increases and greatly reduce our present output. Those who are involved in this type of incompetence in whatever party should never be elected.
