We’ll miss him for sure

NED O’KEEFFE states that in recent years there were too many intellectuals in the Cabinet and that none of them ever bought a bale of hay.

We’ll miss him for sure

Yes, Ned that’s the problem alright, too many intelligent people hanging around Government Buildings talking about macro economics and all that useless old smart stuff. Let’s elect a new government of ordinary lads well versed in the price of the square bale. Ned himself could be Minister of Finance, Jackie Healy-Rae could be Taoiseach and maybe PJ Sheehan might have a go as Minister for Transport. How on earth did we fail to appreciate Ned? There’s not a doubt in the wide earthly world that we’ll miss him when he’s gone. Who will now spot the coming of military coups and point out the widespread ignorance of cattle grub prices?
