LABOUR states it will not increase income taxes on earnings of less than €100,000 and will instead extend the 10% USC rate to include all income over €100,000 (raising €106m).

A single income family in excess of €100,000 will pay additional taxes. Whereas a married couple who individually have less than €100,000 but whose combined total could be €190,000 will not have to pay extra taxes.
