School tours are vital

I REFER to your recent article that said schools may cancel school tours in order to make up for teaching days that were lost because of heavy snowfalls.

Thousands of jobs all around the country depend on school tours. There are hundreds of attractions and hundreds of coach companies, all with taxpaying employees to support.

If we take away the school tours, we will put more people on the dole.
