We should be looking west, not to the east

Our government should then extend the hand of friendship to the USA and send a high-powered delegation there to include Michael O’Leary (Ryanair), Denis Brosnan (Kerry Group), Patrick Kennedy (Paddy Power) and any other successful company and offer the USA Shannon Airport and 200 acres of land to build factories around it, and if possible reduce our corporation tax further to 10%. If the USA wants to fly to refuel its planes, then so be it. Beggars can’t be choosers and we need the employment which this venture would bring.
