No authority here

We have not signed up to the EU Convention on Human Rights — it therefore has no legal or binding authority. Why then is our government seeking to implement so called judgment which has no authority? Europe cannot go over the heads of the Irish people. Yesterday it was Ireland’s financial decision making and right of self determination; Today it is trying to give legal status, authority and enforcement on very sensitive issues that only the Irish people have the right to decide on. What will it be tomorrow?
