Not up to the job

I AM absolutely infuriated that Noel Dempsey is being allowed to resign and swan off with a handsome pension and golden handshake.

Not up to the job

This is the Minister of Transport who through his inaction has seen the Irish transport system grind to a halt more times that I care to remember.

I do not blame Dempsey for the weather, but I blame him for not being prepared — how many times can this country run out of salt to treat our roads?

How much does it cost to store sufficient salt in the country versus bringing the economy to a standstill? It’s time Dempsey took responsibility.
