Not up to the job

I AM absolutely infuriated that Noel Dempsey is being allowed to resign and swan off with a handsome pension and golden handshake.

This is the Minister of Transport who through his inaction has seen the Irish transport system grind to a halt more times that I care to remember.

I do not blame Dempsey for the weather, but I blame him for not being prepared — how many times can this country run out of salt to treat our roads?
