Utter contempt for those in need

THE recent Prime Time programme about elderly home care is yet more dreary evidence of a state body’s contempt for the taxpayer and the service recipient.

Surely Leas Cross was shocking enough, particularly as it should not have happened? How in God’s name can the HSE spend so much money on home care in the past 10 years without monitoring, and only now wake up to elderly suffering because of a TV programme?
